The form was built using a plywood with a smooth finish that will be waxed so the Seacast will not stick to it. 
It seems like it never ends, I keep digging and digging water logged wood away. For SECAST to be successful you must remove as much as the rotten wood as possable.
      This the view looking down into the transom. On the right this wood still needs to be removed and also the wood in the stringer so the Seacast can flow in between the fiberglass.  All the old 2 lbs. foam needed to be removed to make way for the new 4 lbs. foam. I felt like a dentist picking, drilling and digging out in small pieces. The next step will be preparing the transom so the Seacast can be poured in.  After 2 days finally finished
Today at Babylon Boat Works We dug out as much foam as we could. Then George made a clean cut around the deck so when the new deck is glassed in there will be a clean edge to work with. Then we prepaid the transom for Seacast the Pourable transom solution for repairing rotted out transoms. A chain saw is a good tool to use for removing the water logged wood between the exterior and interior fiberglass skins.          With the boat being 30 years old the deck needed to be replace.
