Captain Al Lorenzetti shows the final installation of the live well system in the 23 Mako. Because the live well in the 23 Mako is built into the deck of the boat water finds it's way into the live well from the rain or just washing the deck down after a day out on the water. The new live well system has the ability to pump this unwanted water overboard reducing the weight of the boat when the live well is not needed. The only thing that needs to be done now is the wiring.

1979 MakoWe are starting another complete restoration for Tony Daidone on another 1979 23 foot Mako. This boat is in very good shape and lived its entire old life on Lake Michigan. Having lived in only fresh water makes things a lot easier. There is no salt water corrosion of parts and the boat never had bottom paint on it. It is coming along real good and we will be posting lots of new photos of the work in progress very shortly. Archives
